Female Manga Fan Arts II - Anime And Gaming

Lum from Urusei Yatsura. Some years ago I was into this anime by the great Rumiko Takahashi. She then later went and produced the famous Ranma 1/2 series. In a nutshell Urusei Yatsura is a romantic comedy series which sometimes included weird situations.

Back then when I watched this anime, only available media for me was VHS tapes. I rented the tapes from a local Video store, and most if not all of the tapes were English subtitle with original Japanese dialog.

Main plot of the anime is that a teenager girl from another planet, oni race, by the name of Lum falls in love with Ataru Moroboshi, who is also a teenager, but is a male student from earth.

This fan art drawing is dedicated to the main character of that anime, and because I think Lum is really a cute, sweet girl, which sometimes gets mad, like any of us, and shocks everyone with her electric powers. Here I have her singing part of the opening song from the TV series... If anyone might be asking what language that is; It is Japanese with English letters.

Lara Croft from Tomb Raider series I think she is one of the most recognised women in the gaming industry. Yet I think now she is starting to fade a little. Her popularity was much more intense a few years ago. Still Lara Croft is an Icon and will always be in my book. She is sexy and has twin guns. Beautiful yet dangerous girl... I like that style.

Setsuka from Soul Calibur Series. Setsuka is so hot! I love this fighter, I have played Soul Calibur Series on the PSP and on the PS2. I know this drawing is a bit off on her real styled. I think I just wanted to create another cute look for her face. IDK if I succeeded..?

Don't be fooled by her innocent looks. she seems like a nice lady, but hidden on her umbrella is a deadly dagger that I think many of her opponents don't see coming. She is extremely fast, agile fighter and powerful moves.

Her outfit is so flashy and a bit complex. I could really spend much time trying to imitate it. I was debating on blond or brunette. I finally decided blond although on the Soul Calibur III for the PS2 she is a brunette on this costume and her alternate. but in the new version she appears as blond.

Winry Rockbell from Full Metal Alchemist (FMA). A great anime I recommend everyone to watch. Certainly one of the best animes I have ever seen by Hiromu Arakawa. She is quite an attractive young girl with great interest in mechanical stuff. That would let you hint that she is not only looks, but also brains.

I created this piece of her practicing Yoga or simply sitting on the floor relaxing... I still have not figured out the background, but perhaps will add an inside home or beach type background later on.

Overall its a simple fan art of Winry, nothing too fancy. I just hope I did her justice in her entire beauty.

Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami from King of Fighter series. I dunno where I got the idea to draw female chibi versions of these two male characters of the King of Fighters (KOF). It might have been because I have seen other people draw and transformed male character into female version on the Deviant Art website. Whatever the reason, I like on how this came out.

I know their body proportions are very exagerated like the thickness of the legs, arms, hands, feet and head, but chibis are supposed to be like that right? or at least mine are, lol.

Nana from the anime Elfen Lied. If you have seen the short anime, you can tell that Nana is my favorite character of the entire cast of characters. Nyu is cute, but I was not too fond of the idea of double personality disorder. I think Nana is sweet, even thou she is equipped with those invisible arms that can kill. I and I really bad for her in the anime because bad things happens to her. It kinda made me thing that sometimes bad things happens to good people, but that is life sometimes.

about the anime; It has a nice plot though and a little romance. But..but,,but, beware! It has lots of blood! Many would think it is really a dark anime because there is nudity, and scenes where dismembering of human parts happens a lot. So I say this anime is for adults only and definitely NOT for children.

Here I tried to make Nana look cute. She has very big eyes and short pink hair with a blue ribbon trying not to show her horns. She is wearing a simple dress I designed for her.

I am so in love with this character I think I might be in the mood for creating another fan art of her. Hope you all like her. :)
